How To Treat Canker Sores On Tongue?

My girl got Canker sores on her tongue but it has been getting worst no matter what for the past two weeks, now she cannot eat solid foods and it some little black dots around the affected area are appearing. believe they hurt but since the canker sore makes her whole mouth hurt i have no idea if those little black dots hurt, now it seems like a tiny sore is on the tip of her tongue and its hurting her. can you recommend me something or is anything wrong with her

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain canker sores or apthous ulcers can occur due to a number of reasons like nutritional deficiency of iron and vitamin B12, excess intake of sour foods, stress, allergic reaction to any food or medicine, hormonal changes etc..
You should consult an Oral physician and get her evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in knowing the underlying cause of the problem and get treated accordingly..
In case of resistant apthous ulcers if they do not respond to other treatments then patients are given a course of steroids for relief..
As of now she can gargle with a numbing mouth wash for reducing pain and inflammation..
Take a multivitamin tablet daily..
Gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia.
Do warm saline gargles.
Avoid hot and spicy foods.
Such ice pops and do cold water rinses..
rink plenty of wayer and maintain a proper oral hygiene
