How To Terminate Unwanted Pregnancy?

I am pregnant for 4 weeks but want to go for abortion. doctor suggested medicine abortion with mtpill 200 mg & 4 other tablets, about wchich I dont know till now. Doctor suggested after exmining the usg report, it will be normal to complete the process in 4 hours after 2 days of taking mtpill. Is that safe enough for future pregnancy?

Hi,
Since you have followed the necessary steps to undergo the induced medical abortion, you can safely go ahead with it. To be safer, you can also get the coagulation profile, blood counts and urinalysis. Please follow your doctor's instructions and use the MTP kit as advised. The whole process is completed in 2-3 days. Bleeding also is usually minimal since the products of conception at this stage are very small in size. Follow up is done two weeks after the abortion through a clinical exam and a sonogram. If properly performed, future pregnancies should not be problem. Hope this helps.
