I m 4 weeks pregnant and already have a 7 month old little boy. I was taking cerazette as normal yet still got caught with it. I m depressed and can t stop crying about it. I can NOT go through with having another baby I had a hard time in labour and I m terrified. But that s not the main reason, the reason is it wasn t supposed to happen ansi can t do this again and only had intentiones of ever having one child. I m booked in to see the clinic in a weeks time, then it will take another week to fully sort this out. Why does it take so long...and how will I feel when I do this. I m lost and scared
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. Technically, failure of contraception becomes an indication to induce an abortion. The reasons being this is an unwanted pregnancy and the possible side effects the fetus may have due to the use of oral contraception. The investigations and the follow up procedures usually take 2-3 days once you see a specialist. Since you have already taken an appointment with your consultant, go through your opinions once again meanwhile with no regrets later on. It is not necessary that the painful experience you had during your labor in the past should repeat. You can also go on with this pregnancy provided you get regular monitoring and I presume you may have stopped the Cerazette already. Thus, the unwanted effects on the embryo are lessened. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
