How To Take Tiniba 500?
Hello Doctor, previously I got an infection for which my gyneac advised to take tiniba 500. he is abroad for the moment and i am encountering same problem as last time. i still have the prescription for 8 tablets. my question is i forgot how much tablet to take per day and if my partner need to take those as well?

Tiniba 500 mg ( tinidazole ) , as you mentioned that this was prescribed by gynecologist , so must be for non-specific vaginitis or trichomoniasis . Normal dose depends upon the type of disease ,but usual dose in an adult is 500 mg twice in day for 5-15 days depending upon the nature of infection. Concomitantly husband and wife should take for complete eradication of infection ( anaerobic infection ).
