there are several ways to do it. most doctors will give the dose of mifepristone orally, then give a dose of misoprostol orally 12 to 14 hours later, usually followed by a dose of misoprostol vaginally. it is extremely important that you do this ONLY under the supervision of your doctor, and follow his/her instructions. they need to know what you are taking and when, and be available to handle any possible complications. so please ask your doctor how he/she wants you to take the medications, and good luck!

Firstly, the pregnancy has to be confirmed by a gynecologist, and confirmed that it is intra uterine pregnancy.
That way, an ectopic pregnancy ( pregnancy outside the uterus ) which is rare, but life threatening, can be excluded.
Also, the correct dosage and schedule of the drugs can be followed.
Generally 1 tablet of mifepristone is followed within 24 - 48 hours by 4 tablets of Misoprost vaginally or orally.
Mifepristone is orally.
After 2 weeks, follow up ultrasound scan is done to check if uterine cavity is empty.
If these precautions are not observed, you might land up with uncontrolled bleeding, infection, retained products etc.
