How To Stop Spotting And Cramping While Conceived With Ivf?

Im 11 weeks pregnant today and concieved with ivf. I had light bleeding last night almost for an hour with cramps in my lower back and abdomen like im going to have periods, but it stopped after an hour. Told my obgyn this morning and she had my ultrasound/sonogram done and it was fine, baby was active and heartbeat was good. Didnt see any blood or spotting during the day but had cramps all day long, now started spotting again. Talked to the obgyn she said lay on your back with a pillow under your bottom, and take tylenol extra strength. Im really scared, is there something else i can do to stop spotting?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

This happens at times, and if your doctor has checked for everything then there is nothing to worry about. Although I would also recommend a check on your hormone levels as abdominal cramps and pain can also appear due to a deficiency of a few hormones. In the meantime, get as much rest as possible. Avoid walking around and lifting.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
