I tried exercising, walking, running, diet and taking my medicine regularly daily. I take 45 units of insulin Levemir/ Detemir and 10 units Novolog/ Aspart in evening, and also 10 units levemir in evening. So now I am frustrated with my self. Hi
Welcome to HCM
Don't be disheartened. One of the cause for weight gain in Insulin . So I advise you to start a Dpp4 inhibitor which doesn't cause weight gain . Also by adding it your insulin dosage will come down and hence the chance of weight gain .
For weight loss its better you take a dietician consult who can plan your diet . Ask him to plan a low calorie diet. Also increase your exercise intensity week by week so that with every week your energy expenditure increase with every week and you start losing weight.
