How To Reduce Throat Pain With Canker Sore On The Tonsils?

I have a piercing pain in the back of my throat (like a canker sore is on the backside of my left tonsil). I can't see it but I feel it when I swallow. Recently put on antibiotics for sinus congestion/ headaches. Doc said the area is likely near my eustachian tube and to try and get anything back there will only gag me. Any recommendations for handling the pain other than ibuprofen?

in my opinion you are suffering from some sort of ulcerative lesion in tonsillopharyngeal area hidden from normal looking range. it's very painful whenever you want to eat something. I would recommend you to take vitamin B complex and folic acid for fast recovery. XYLOCAINE VISCUS is a very good local anaesthetic solution used for oral cavity. it will anaesthetize your ulcer area , you just need to keep solution near ulcer for 1 min, then you can eat food without pain. further treatment will elucidate history of constipation, if any take lots of fibre diet.
