My son was recently diagnosed with diabetes and they told him that he has probably been a diabetic for a long time. His blood glucose had been i 400 to 500. He has gotten it down to the lower 300 but it won t go any lower. What do you recommend that he does or what Dr he needs to see?
Hello, Such high levels of blood sugar levels can't be made all right by just diet control and exercises. Your son must consult a diabetologist or an internal medicine specialist for proper investigations and treatment. The best results are seen when anti diabetic drugs are accompanied by diet control and adequate aerobic exercises. Thanks
