How To Reduce Swollen Tonsil Due To Strep Throat?

I was diagnosed with strep throat on Monday and started on 500mg Amoxicillin 3x per day. My throat feels better, no more white spots, but my one tonsil is still VERY swollen - almost blocking half my throat. Do you have any ideas to help decrease the swelling?

Hi, thanks for the query..
Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids , combination of Paracetemol + Ibuprofen , & Vit C for 5 days along with Amoxicillin.
