How To Reduce Stress?

I have been under a lot of intense emotional stress for the past two years, and just lately I've been having these unusual fluttery, chilling feeling in my chest that actually keep me from resting, or sleeping very much at all. There is no pain, what so ever, just a weird sensation. What could this possibly be from?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

From what you have mentioned, you are under some form of stress and the symptoms that you are experiencing are highly likely to be due to anxiety. Anxiety often leads to weird sensations and this seems to be on of them.

I would suggest that you consult a psychiatrist for complete evaluation of your problems. Treatment with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors like paroxetine would be effective in controlling your anxiety. You should also start exercising daily as that that will help you relax and feel better.

I do hope that I was able to answer your query. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
