I have oily skin and have been suffering with pimples on my face since last October. I m 21 and female. For the past few weeks the pimples are getting worst.. It s coming out only in the right side of my face..around the right eyebrows, right cheeks and in the chin. I consulted a doc today and he prescribed Clindamycin & Nicotinamide gel Glocin and also Liv 52.. Will it be helpful?? Or should I use something else?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Pimples are small inflammatory skin lesions or inflammations. They occur when oil glands are infected with bacteria leading to swelling up, and then gets filled up with pus.
What the doctor has prescribed is right medication.
Along with it you can add Retinoic acid cream and Vitamin E (Evion 400) capsules.
Keep your face clean and healthy. Avoid consuming more of diary products, especially chocolates.
It will gradually reduce in size and number.
Hence have patience.
All the best.
