How To Reduce Pain In Upper Thigh Due To Arthritis?

Pain in my upper right thigh. Pain when trying to put on shoes and socks. The pain is in the thigh are above the knee. Also pain sitting in office chair. Had an MRI and they said it was arthiritis. Going to a physical Therapist. Still no go0d.

After going through your query I think You are suffering from generalized osteoarthritis of as your doctor also said after seeing MRI. Analgesics such as diclofenac slow release tablets is helpful in pain relief. Diacerine and glucosamine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration. Serum vitamin D test is advised and if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. You can discuss with your treating doctor. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
