How To Reduce Pain In The Extra Skin On Vagina?

Hi doctor, I m having some pain with my extra skin on my vagina. What could I do to make the pain stop? Having something cold on it helps, but when I put my underwear on it stings and I have a troublesome time taking off my underwear now because of the pain.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. What do you meant by extra skin? Is it long labia or any inflamed and protruded skin? If inflamed and protruded skin it should be excised surgically and wound should be managed by dressing with betadine. For now you can wash the area with warm saline and apply betadine ointment and cover with a gauze piece before putting underwear. Avoid soaps and irritants as this will irritate more.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
