How To Reduce Pain In Foot With History Of An Ankle Surgery?

I had surgery on my ankle 11 years ago to repair tendons - it has been painful since, more so when used a lot. lately, if I have done excess walking etc the pain in my foot is unbareable & I get lumps in the veins, should I be concerned about the lumps & Is there anything I can do/take to reduce the pain?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, any NSAID (Non Steroid Anti-Inflammatory Drugs ) would be nice and "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg sustain release once in day is advisable, but more important would be underlying cause if the pain is chronic one and for that better to get done the MRI hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day,
I find this answer helpful
