How To Reduce Neck Tightness And Ear Pressure?

I lifted some pretty heavy furniture about 2 weeks ago. I also have fibromyalgia and my neck gives me fits. My muscles have been so tight before that it felt like my ear was plugged. Right now my neck is extremely tight and my ear has severe pressure on it. I have tried heat, ice, muscle relaxers, aleve, and stretching it some but nothing has relieved my ear pressure and now it s got my shoulder and upper back hurting. What else can I do and how long would you say it would take to hear again? Thank you so much for your help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query, read and understood your history and concerns.
It is obviously the tight neck-muscles that need to be treated first. Since you have tried everything and failed means it is possible that the fibromyalgia is severe or there is cervical spondilitis .
I would advise you the following:
Consult an Orthopedic surgeon for clinical evaluation and investigations like MRI of the neck and spine to see the reasons.
Consult an ENT Surgeon to rule out a primary ENT Problems or whether this is related to the neck problems, get investigated and treated accordingly.
I find this answer helpful
