How To Reduce Gamma Gt Levels In Elderly With Cancer?
A lady of 81 yrs of age is having chemo every 4 weeks was due her last chemo session yesterday (6th session). She wasn't aloud the 6th chemo session due to her Hb being 8 and her gamma-GT being raised. were concerned about her gamma-GT and how to reduce the level. This lady is not known to have liver disease and does not drink any alcohol.

Increased gamma gt levels and reduced HB it most probably due to given 5 session of chemotherapy, so now delay chemotherapy and give medicine for reduced HB. After delaying chemotherapy gamma gt level might be decreased spontaneously and no need to give any specific tharapy for increased gamma gt level but patient need iron plus folic acid for reduced HB.
