How To Reduce Excessive Sugar Consumption Habit?

i have a heavy sugar addiction, i usually just put a ton in my coffee or on strawberries but i catch myself literally putting spoon fulls of it in my mouth, some days are really bad i eat it until i feel sick.i dont want diabetes and i still cant break this problem what do i do?

In short: Anything which is too much is too bad

Explanation: It is proved that refined sugars(simple sugars) cause adverse effect to cardiovascular system. And if you have diabetes history in your family it is a cause of concern.
So, it is better to prevent than treating any disease. Cut down your sugar levels and start having green leafy vegetables and sprouted seeds more in your diet with regular exercise.
Initially it may be difficult but have patience and will to continue this for ever. You may consut your local dietician/doctor for any help regarding this.
