Urologist 's  Response
Hello,

A creatinine of 1.4 is borderline normal. At the age of 75, he may be having an enlarged prostate, which causes an elevation. He should get the following tests done and see a urologist:
1. Urine routine, culture, and ACR.
2. Blood routine,creatinine,RBS,LFT,PSA,and platelets.
3. Ultrasound-KUB, with residual urine, and a TRUS.
According to the reports, treatment can be advised. If you've any doubts, send the reports to me, as a direct question.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matthew J. Mangat
