How To Reduce SGPT And SGOT Levels After Cardiac Arrest?

My brother is in ICU now after cardiac arrest due to V - Tach. He is now in the hospital for 2 weeks and all of his CT scan and angiogram are both normal. Also all vital signs are normal except now his SGPT - 164 and SGOT - 124. What is the best cure for this? he is still waiting for EEG result.

Hi,

SGPT and SGOT can be elevated after heart attack or heart failure. Hepatitis should be ruled out as well.
In case there is no hepatitis and alcohol dependent liver problems, SGPT and SGOT levels will decrease gradually as his heart condition normalized.
