How To Quit Habit Of Smoking?

In my 1st week of quitting smoking had hypnotherapy last thurs. I have had a bit of a health scare. I am 53 year old female been smoking since I was 15. I have been smoking about 5 a day. I am lost without them, its all I can think about. I am also trying to come off citalopram, but will keep to the 10mg ones till I am over the smoking. I am feeling like I have lost a friend. Today I tried one of the e cigarettes it was the most disgusting thing ever and I wont be using that again. I have been made to get rid of all my cigs and put them in the bin so I cannot be tempted.
Would be grateful for advise thankyou

If you have no issues with your heart (and I assume you are not pregnant), consider using the nicotine patch. Also, you may want to attend Nicotine Anonymous. It is a 12 step self help program.
