How To Prevent The HPV Infection During Anal Sex?

Hi, I want to experiment receiving anal sex for the first time. However, I'm a little bit scared about contracting HPV in my anus. I know even using condom, this is a possibility. How could I prevent me from getting this virus, besides not having anal sex at all ?
Thanks

Hi there.
I understand your predicament & empathise.
Firstly, your history is a touch sparse as is your gender or the reason you suspect your partner may have HPV unless you are alluding to sex with a stranger.
Nowadays, there are HPV vaccinations' that you may take & this may be a good way forward for you albeit I personally don't rate the vaccination very highly.
Condoms DO protect you & in either case, I think you should be using a condom not just for anal sex. Also do remember to lubricate yourself well as most infections spread due to the frictional damage & loss of skin integrity & microabrasions & one way of limiting the damage would be to be well lubricated.
Good Luck & Wish you safe sex too.
