How To Prevent Recurrent Sore Throat And Chest Infection?

I recently returned from Mexico, developed initially a sore throat but then painful lymphadenopathy, headache, back, chest and bilateral shoulder pain and bilateral forearm muscle pain. Temp 37.7, saw my GP and he has labelled it tonsillitis says red tonsils but no pus and given me Pen V. I keep getting this after I ve been on holiday. It happened after I went skiing in March but then I had a sore throat and chest infection. What can I do to prevent this from happening? Is a mask any use like they wear in China? Can tonsillitis cause all these symptoms? Thanks

HI.
The symptoms were due to septicemia which developed due to tonsillitis. IT is mandatory that you get a minimum of 3 weeks course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines to get a cure.
A partial treatment makes it a dormant infection which gets reactivated the moment there is a change of environment or so.
You can also take therapeutic dosages of vitamin A and D and later continue with multi-vitamins as a immunity booster.
This may help alleviate further attacks.
