Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
had heart attack 6 or 7 yrs ago (bad diet). Had a stent inplanted. Work out 3 days a week including riding 6 miles a work out. about 5 min after a work out had a several secound black out (drift off) Don't know what caused it or what to do to prevent it from happening again. Thank You
What was your report ? Was there normal ejection fraction and how long back was the stenting done, or any other vessel had disease ? At this point of time, you should avoid heavy exercises, blackouts can suggest serious problem especially in heart patient.
You should daily do brisk walking but avoid activities. Is there any associated chest pain or heaviness during work outs? You should get one stress test like tmt done. Maintain healthy lifestyle, monitor blood pressure, avoid smoking and alcohol if any. You can review with above information.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sagar Makode
