How To Prevent Anemia During Pregnancy?

Im 24 weeks pregnant and today Ive been feeling lightheaded, sick to my stomach, and really tired. I have eaten and have had plenty to drink. My doctor has told me in the past that I am borderline anemic and Im afraid that may have gotten worse. What do you think?

Hello
Welcome here.
If you persistently having this lightheadedness, tiredness, stomach problems, there can be a possibility that your hemoglobin levels are low. Another possibility is alteration in blood pressure.
Please get you Hb levels checked and also the blood pressure.
Anyhiw, it advised to get Hb levels checked at 22-24 weeks of pregnancy.
You can take green vegetables and fruits like pomegranate as these have rich iron content.
Continue with your iron supplements.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
