Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi there. I had a back pain that accompanied with leg pain, a dr told me to get a MRI and radiology photos. MRI says that L4-L5 is dehydrated and protruded. I should sleep inverse to decrease the pain and also I can t sit on the chair for more than 10 min. What is your advice for me?
As persons age the intervertebral disc (the discs between the vertebra in the back) can lose fluid and small tears can occur. This can result in protrusion.
The main part of treatment is pain medication and physiotherapy.
Your doctor can refer you to a physiotherapist who can show what exercises would improve your muscle strength.
I hope this helps

How To Overcome The Pain On My Back And Leg?
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic The intervertebral disc are composed of an outer ring called the annulus fibrosus and an inner aspect called nucleus pulposus. The nucleus is a jelly like substance.
