I'm 15 and I never thought about this until it was mentioned by a friend. I check everything more than necessary to check if it's done right, like the door to see if it's locked and to check the oven if it's on and when I open the fridge and I close it, I open it again for no reason and when I touch an object I have an urge to touch it with my other hand, or when I step into something I have step on it again.I have a bad habit of nail biting; so when I do it on my right hand I have to do it on my left hand. And I like everything done evenly. could it be OCD?

Hi Your history sounds like an OCD. First thing is that you dont need to get worried about this.With a good effort you can get rid off it.Best treatment for OCD is exposure to it.That is stop the thought by not doing it.Do opposite to the intention and fight against that.If you can do that then you don need a mediinal treatment.You will be fine gradually.If you continue the obsession like this it might increase and flood your memmory and have an impact on your personality itself.If you cannot do it by yourself better get a help of psychiatrist. hope this may help you thanks
