How To Overcome The Cold Sores?

Hi.. I have cold sores. I just told my bf today and wants for to break things off. I have not contacted him anymore. I never seen any symptoms and was told by my doctor Is oral and now it is gential, and I am taking Valtrex to prevent it. What is the best way to bring up these facts to a love one without scaring them off. I don't feel as though I will be a long term relationship again because of this. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Your history suggests that you are suffering from oral sores and genital sores.
It is difficult to judge the character of these sores without clinical examination and investigations.
These sores can be transmitted sexually.
Herpes simplex is one of sexually transmitted infection which causes both genital and oral sores.
You need to consult your doctor for the assessment of these lesions.
You need to refrain from sexual activity till the lesions are treated.

Thanks and take care
