How To Overcome Alcohol And Drug Addiction?

I am sitting with a friend who is having a reaction from alcohol, marijuana , lorazapam ( 2mg ) and fluoxetine ( 20 mg). symptoms are: tachycardia 100-120 bpm, respiration 24, shallow but regular, extreme restlessness, nausea, muscle spasm & tremors. Last meds, the lorazepam taken approx. 10 pm yesterday. He has been suffering for several days but is refusing medical treatment. Will this pass if he puts no more alcohol/ marijuana in his system?

Such symptoms are mostly functional in origin and that might be happening due to narcotic and benzodiazepine drugs, this would be subsided once stop taking this drugs and alcohol, hope this information helps, take care.
