How To Overcome Abdominal And Lower Back Pain?

I have been having lower back pain ( throbbing when I'm lying down) accompanied by abdominal pain more to the. Right side of my abdomen. My urine has been extremely dark as well but I have been drinking fluids so I don't think I'm dehydrated. No real change in diet and I barely consume alcohol. I'm fairly active and other than this feel healthy. I'm a 35 yr old male with family history of cancer in my mother and diabetes in my father. Im almost certain I didn't pull a muscle but the pain has worsened the last week to point of tossing and turning and inability to sleep. The other night after dinner the I was almost sick from the mix. Of pain in both back and stomach but figured it could've been indigestion,

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
According to your history of illness ,this type of pain may be due to.
1 Renal calculus , as you are complaining that pain is on right side in abdomen radiating in the back .Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of urinary tract system .
2 Urinary tract infection is the 2nd possibility. Diagnosis can be confirmed by culture and drug sensitivity test of urine.
3 As you are 35 years old ,so we can't rule out the pain of appendix.Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of appendix.
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is very important in this case.
Good luck.
