10 months back i got my right ear ruptured, it took 2-3 months to heel up n 10 days back got an inflammation in my left ear while coming down from hills. Got a ringing sound in my ear, I m taking regular medicines but the left ear is not opening up, it remains close most of the time n the ringing sound is still there though it has slowed in volume a little.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your you have symptoms of inflammation and ringing sound in ears which seems to be due to ear infection, perforated ear drum and any internal injury to ear.

Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine.

Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day. Take proper rest.

Avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put pressure.

You should avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object.

If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done for proper examination. You should go for otoscopic examination and audimetery testing.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
