Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear about this back stenosis and the pains this has caused you. It is rather unfortunate that you may not want surgery but I will like to let you know that this is the best solution to this problem. Unless your surgeon has made it expressly clear that you can not undergo this surgery for other reasons, I will advise that you strongly consider to. There is just no way to liberate nerves and help you have a pain free life without undoing this stenosis. If you cannot do that, there is really no big promise you can get out there. Drugs and physical therapy would not be sufficient in severe disease states. I will suggest that you revisit your surgeon for more assessment. I hope this helps and wish you well.
