How To Manage High Cholesterol Levels?

My Total Cholesterol is 218, LDL is 151, HDL is 46. I am very careful in food intake now. Also I am taking one 10mg of Winstor (Atorvastatin) a day. I got checkup on 1st of Feb 11 and taking tablets since 10 days. Now What should I do further? Any additional checkups or continue with this? for how long?

if you are heavy wt then you have to decrease you wt.you have to avoid oily ,spicy &any other food that is rich in fat.you can take protien more.in medi you can take lashunadi vati 2 tab 3time after meal .this will help to lower your cholestrol level.

Dear
For lowering cholestrol you have to keep check on your fat intake and bodily activity also. Have more vegetables and the herbs that reduce fat can be added in diet and also as medicine. Lashun / garlic is the fore most that reduces fat and having one or two cloves daily on empty stomach will keep a check on your cholestrol. Guggul is the other gum that maintains cholestrol. Just one cap. Lipan { Ban Labs} will make it normal. Have no worries, just add brisk walk in your routine.
