Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I appreciate your concern for your friend. Gutka habit is a form of tobacco addiction. Often when people get addicted to tobacco, they find it difficult to stop, even though they know that it is harmful for them.

The best way to help him would be to take him to a psychiatrist for professional help. A combination of medication and counselling can be effective in reducing / stopping his tobacco addiction. So, please advise him to consult a psychiatrist for further advise and help.

Wish you all the best.

Regards,
