How To Lower High ESR And Fever?
hello doctor...my esr is high for few days now..i just came to know last night..however...my family doctor on vacation...wht tablets i can take to bring my fever down...as well as my esr...i dont like heat...please help.i live in vancouver b.c

ESR is erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
ESR is a non-specific parameter and it increases in cases of chronic inflammation and infection.
ESR decreases as the underlying cause - inflammation or infection is cured.
Thus, ESR may take long to fall.
Regarding your fever, you can take analgesic to lower the fever.
I usually precribe paracetamol to my patients to lower mild to moderate fever.
You can take the analgesic if available in your part of world.
