How To Lose Weight In A Healthy Way?

Hye.. I want to ask about how to lose weight in a healthy way. I am a 20 y.o female with weight of 97kg and my height is 159. Yes, I am more than 40kg over weight. This started when I was 13, when I entered boarding school. My mother suffer from diabetic type 2, with 2 times insulin injection. My younger brother also suffering from same disease, with reading of 11 when fasting. So far my sugar reading is 4.7 on fasting, but I am still worry. I don t want to suffer with the same disease. I am currently practicing diet, only consume between 1000-1700 calories intake. (2 months now) but, I did not loss any kg yet. Can you suggest me any supplements or other way that can help me reduce my weight? Thank you in advance.

At you height , an ideal weight would be around 65 Kgs.
Actually there is no magic plan to achieve weight reduction , but I can certainly help you out.
Try to maintain a balanced diet with cereals , proteins ,vegetables . Even a little oil and fat is also required. Try to eat around 4-5 fruits a day. Keep away from fried food , soft drinks . Have small meals at regular intervals.Drink loads of water. That's all about the diet.

It would be great if you could add to that a bit of physical exercise and cardio workouts like walking and jogging. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day
