How To Lose Weight After Surgery?

I had gastric bypass that has truly not help much. I had the surgery in 2002, I had Rouen y. I lost some weight and have kept it off. But I have. Never felt full. I never experienced any of the side affects that were supposed to help curb eating. I am wondering if there is a chance for revision so that I can lose weight?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that you have misunderstood the purpose if the gastric bypass surgery.
gastric bypass is a surgery for pathological conditions ,it may not be of much use for obesity. Here stomach is bypassed of the duodenum and intestines. So it empties quick and may feel hungry.
But main thing is what ever you eat is not absorbed completely.
So you must get the result to some extent even after eating full food.
There is another surgery called the tube gastrectomy, which restricts the food intake and control obesity.
You can keep weight under control, by avoiding fats, fries, junk foods, and oily foods.
Increase your activity by practicing, morning walk, yoga, gardening, and do any work in front of you.
Minimize the sleeping time ,practice late to bed, and early to rise, avoid day time sleep.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
