How To Know Whether I Am Affected By HPV?

I was diagnosed with genital seborrheic keratosis a couple of months before and getting cryotherapy for those keratosis. But i searched on internet and all articles say those are genital warts affected by HPV. My age is 65 and am worried a lot if this is virus. Is there any test to know what is that?

Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr Amit. I can very well understand your concern about human papilloma virus (HPV). There are various techniques as HPV INFECTIONS CAN NOT BE DETECTED FROM BLOOD SAMPLES by which you can very well detect the HPV and the cells infected with it for example
1 . Pap smears
2. Colposcopy
3. Very important is Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the HPV. Hope I have given satisfactory answers to your questions. Feel free to ask if you have any other doubts
Regards
