Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir,. The sugar level are slightly higher to normal. If drug is prescribed after the blood test which showed 180, the continue the medication. It helps in controlling blood sugar. check the blood sugar level after 2 weeks again to see whether the dose is apt. if yes then continue the same. If still high discuss with the treating doctor regarding any increase of dose.

Regarding diet no sugars and sweets. Small meals more in number rather than heavy meals. Regarding exercise continue the same if possible 30 min a day. Try to stop smoking.

Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.
