How To Interpret HIV Test Report?

hi, i had HIV test with LabCorp. My results are negative, but im worry because im having trouble understanding the results. it says: Results Referencial Interval

HIV 1/O/2 Abs-ICMA
HIV 1/O/2 Abs-Index Value Index Value: Specimen reactivity relative to the negative cutoff.
HIV 1/O/2 Abs, Qual Non Reactive Non Reactive

Can someone help me to clear understand my results? what this really means. im negative or why is it barely on the boderline? i google abit and i found information saying that when someone is on borderline or Specimen reactivity relative to the negative cutoff means that the it is potentially creating HIV antibodies. so practically in developing stage. is that true?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. It is non-reactive. which means you are negative.
2. It is usually either antibody present or not. There are borderline results, in which you have to repeat. In your case it is still negative.
3. No, it is not in developing stage.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
