How To Increase Vitamin D Level In Body While On Synthroid?

What could be a cause for low levels of Vitamin D in a young 25 year old female, levels dropped even after she was put on a Vit. D supplement. She had no energy, works, comes home eats and sleeps, has no interest in normal activities for her age because she is always tired. She had half her thyroid removed as a teenager and is on Synthroid and her levels are ok on blood tests ?

hi
Your physician must check for serum calcium and vitamin D levels and give D supplements and also calcium supplements accordingly.Childs parathormone level in serum, serum creatinine,GFR for kidneys, and some tests for malabsorptin from bowels may be needed if adequate dosing of VITAMIN D and Calcium been given.Exposure to sunliht, diet rich in Vit D and calcium should be prescribed.Synthroid may not be the cause
best wishes
