Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your concern and from what you have mentioned, you seem to be having temperamental traits which are causing dysfunction. You seem to be impulsive on occasions as well as have emotional lability which is leading to your current problem. In addition, you are smoking which is only making problems worse for you.

You should seek a psychiatric consultation. You don't need to be stressed or scared about it. You should talk to your parents regarding the same. You might need some anti-depressant like escitalopram which will help better your mood. In addition, you would need psychotherapy sessions which will help you understand yourself and make necessary changes so as to be able to face situations better. Of course, you will have to quit smoking.

Best wishes.
