How To Improve Bodily Strength For A Surgery?

Hi! My grandmother has a collapsed lung due to having emphysema for 10 years. She has a ventilator that keeps her lung inflated. She takes over, no lie, 23 medications. One of them was a pill called Prednisone. She received sugar diabetes, the result of one of it's side effects. But recently, she has been having excruciating abdominal pains. But, here's the thing, abdominal pains wasn't one of the side effects. The County Nurse comes and checks on her weekly, and she told the nurse about this. She checked her out, and she suggested her to go back to the hospital. She went to the hospital, with her husband, my grandfather, and the doctor checked her out. She diagnosed it as gall stones. Unfortunately, she's too weak to do the surgery to get the stones removed. If she went on with the surgery, she would've died during it. So, here is my question, how can we ( my grandfather and I) get her strong enough so she get surgery? Please, help!

Brief answer
postpone it until she gains good health

Detailed answer
I have gone through your query I think I have a better answer to help you out
In my opinion you can postpone her surgery for a while first to get her into good healthy condition
meanwhile you can give her tab pantoprazole to control hyperacidity and tab acetaminophen for pain relief with good food supplements like multivitamins to boost her health.
if you can upload her ultrasound report i would be able to help you better

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
wish you good health
