How To Identify If Abortion Has Occurred After Taking Cytolog Vaginally?

sir i mised my period from last 33 days itaken tablet cytolog 200 mg vaginally but till no bleeding is not occurs today i feel crampy abdominal pain.how can i know abortion is occured or not if not occured how can terminate pregnancy .if any other medications can used plz rpl

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Usually mifepristone and misoprostol are used in combination to teminate pregnancy within 49 days of conception but before using it you should be sure about the pregnancy. So I advise you to confirm pregnancy by Urine Pregnancy Testing kit available in the market. If it comes positive then you can go for abortion with Medical termination of Pregnancy kit (MTP) which contains 1 tablet of mifepristone and 4 tablets of misoprostol. First take mifeprostone orally then after 36-48 hours take misoprostol (cytolog 200mg) 2 tablets either orally or intra-vaginal. Usually bleeding occurs within 24 hours of misoprostol tablets. If it does not happen then take another 2 tablets of misoprostol.
If there is severe bleeding or any other complications then consult an obstetrician immediately. After using MTP it is advisable to go for Ultrasonography to confirm complete abortion.
