How To Heal Red Spot And Dark Circles Under Eye?

Hi Doctor, There is a small red colored spot in the under eye region, which was just developed while I was asleep and I figured it out after getting up. Also, the under eye regigion, i.e. the dard circles have started to appear. Please provide a solution. I tried using flutivate for 3 days on that red lil spot.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

The red spot on under eye region might be either insect bite dermatitis or initial stage of pyoderma. Apply antibiotic cream. Take antibiotics orally for one week. Dark circle i.e. Periorbital hypermelanosis may be either idiopathic, hereditary or secondary to some cause like thyroid dysfunction, vitamin B12 deficiency, anaemia, stress, sleeplessness or some other cause. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Oral vitamin C, nicotinic acid tablets and glutathion containing tablets may be taken. Application of kojic acid cream might improve the the color. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
