How To Heal Painful And Sore Butt Crack?

Hi, I have a very painful butt crack at the top it is some days so painful to even sit or lay down! It looks very red but has no lumps or anything just really sore! It keeps seeming to clear up and feel better and then I am back to square one again. What could it be?

Hello,
Thank you for your question. From yours symptoms i can figure out you must be suffering from a condition called Intertrigo which is common infection in the areas of excessive perspiration and friction. I would suggest you to take antibiotics and antifungals tablets along with creams containing Mupirocin and clotrimazole for local application. Apart from medicines the recurrence can be prevented by maintain proper hygiene of these areas and use of cotton undergarments.
