How To Heal Pain Cause By A Blow On The Left Chest?

Hello

My husband got elbow on the left side of his chest while playing basketball a week ago. He continues to have pain on his left side of chest when he moves his left arm or movement of his head or sneeze or laugh hard. What could it be? Should I be worried and take him to the hospital? What can I do to help him heal or feel no more pain?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your husband, injury to the chest wall is of course very painful one, and takes more time to come around, nothing to worry about this, the pain best can be managed with any pain killing medicine, but I wont advise for this, because this takes longer than enough time to come around even if you go on taking the analgesic, the intensity of pain will decline gradually, without the medicine too, hope this information helps you, have good day.
