How To Handle Anxiety And Panic Attacks?

I've have continuous anxiety, at first I thought I was overwhelmed by the amount of work I had in my classes for college so I talked with a psychiatrist and he thought it was my Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) getting to me so he tried a stronger ADD medication because I was having a lot of trouble concentrating. While the new ADD medicine helped me to focus better, I am still left with overwhelming anxiety and panic attacks.

Hi

I admire your positive outlook and congratulate you for the attitude.

Now I guess you have anxiety disorderand it could be due to some stress in your personal life. That could be the reason for poor attention. In that case, there is no need to take ADD medication like adderall or methylphenidate.

However let me give my opinion here.

I think a combination therapy of antidepressant and low benzodiazepine would help you. You can try some relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise. That would keep you calm and relax.

For this you need expert's guidance by psychiatrist or psychologist .

Hope this helps.
