How to get ride of red spots on my chest and arms?

I am a 50 year old male. Over the past week I have developed red spots, about the size of the end of a pencil eraser, very slightly elevated (slight bumps only), all over my chest and arms, with a few on my back, but nowhere else. There is no itching at all. They seem to get more noticable when I am sweating or exercising, and almost (but not quite) fade away when dormant. They do not seem to be going away on their own.
