Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Hcm,
11 month old with this problem is very difficult I understand. Good thing is, your child is a boy and the chances of class a ring uti in boys is much easier. You should continue doing what you doing giving him lot of fluids. We have no choice but to wait for the culture report to decide on what medicine now to put him on. However, because it's been so long, I would suggest you consult a pediatric surgeon or a nephrologist. He needs ultrasound of abdomen including renal and also other tests like dmsa. Hope this helps you. Let me know if any further queries. Take care.
